Here you can find some wonderful pics from our holiday journey in summer 2006,
and can read a story, how it happen, when Kukka came home.
The polish word Stokrotka means daisy (Bellis perennis). It is a small perennial flower ( Finnish word kukka) , which belongs to the family Asteraceae. In Finland we have it wild, but it is also cultivated as an ornamental plant. The white flowers are most common, but we have also reddish daisys. Soooo, it seem quite natural to call Stokrotka as Finnish KUKKA.
For Kukka, as for so many other litlle PON-seedlings, the very first and the very important appearance in shows, was the PON CLUB SHOW . It was, as usual, in Sipoo and the time was 19.08.2006. The judge was Elena Ruskovaara, Finland. Kukka was THE BEST FEMALE PUPPY and also BIS 2 PUPPY |
The Finnish PON-club had the
day for outdoor activities 22.04.2007
